Kakamega Working group is a network of youth groups working under the umbrella of Youth Alive! Kenya (YAK). The group has been involved in the implementation of YAK’s key Programme areas Democracy and Governance, Health, Environment and Livelihood and Justice and Human rights. This has been realized through youth participation in governance and development processes, participation in equal opportunities for young people and inclusion of marginalized people in decision making and gender equality and women empowerment in leadership.
