Kakamega 2nd In Person Training

Kakamega 2nd In Person Training

On the 1st and 2nd of November 2018, Y-ACT Kakamega county chapter held its 2nd in person advocacy training.
The workshop which was attended by 14 youth advocates, was the second in a sequence of workshops focusing on building the capacity of youth advocates to understand and engage in (policy) advocacy from a beginner’s perspective.

The objective of the training was to take the participants through the first few modules of the course, as well as clearly establish the learner and support team structure that will be used going forward.
The training was also an opportunity to address technical difficulties that the participants had experienced with the learning platform.

By the end of the training, the participants were confident that they would be able to use the online learning platform maximally to sharpen their advocacy skills.
