This policy brief reinforces the need to increase access to Youth Friendly Services (YFS) amongst Adolescents and Young People (AYP) in Nairobi County. This is to chart a clear path on how the County Government, like-minded Civil Society Organizations, Private partners and AYPs should collectively harmonize plans of action to increase access to YFS within the County.A recent survey carried out by MYSA Kenya and Nairobits 1 indicates that the majority of AYP within Nairobi County continuously grapple with understanding what Youth Friendly Services mean and where they are offered. Existing policies like The National Guidelines on Provision of Adolescent and Youth Friendly Services 20162 and The National Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health Policy 20153 clearly spell out YFS roll-out and sustainability strategies to guide effective youth-friendly services delivery. However, there is still need to enforce specificity on stated interventions to clearly work for and benefit young people’s healthcare needs
