Who We Are

Y-ACT, Youth in Action, was formed at Amref Health Africa in 2017 by a group of young innovators to address challenges prioritized by the youth. We have become one of the region’s most influential youth-led movements. Y-ACT provides tailored training, mentorship, coaching, and coalition-building support to African youth advocates and organizations. We believe Africa’s youth have a tremendous opportunity to shift in-country and regional policy landscapes, address their challenges, and achieve their full potential. Our three geographical locations are in East, West, and Southern Africa.
